India’s biggest film city in Noida
Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida is all set to get India’s biggest film city soon. And, this is of great significance to Sharda University because there will be more number of learning and professional opportunities at students’ disposal. Recently, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced setting up the country’s “biggest” and “most beautiful” film city in Greater Noida. The proposed 1000-acre site in Sector 21 will be developed as the best dedicated infotainment zone of the country. It will have a high capacity, world-class data centre, pre-production and post-production infrastructure, sets, processing labs, and a VFX studio. Notably, it is likely to see its first film shooting by early 2021.
As the proposed Gautam Budh Nagar film city is most likely to become one of the biggest hotspots of Bollywood film shooting activities, the students of Sharda University are set to play a major role in this development. Indisputably, this soon-to-be-opened film city has set high prospects for students at Sharda University’s School of Media, Film and Entertainment.
